So, what’s MBH actually about?

Musings of a Bookish Historian is a newsletter run by yours truly, Amy Turner. I’m an American blogger and content creator based out of Pennsylvania. I am the brains behind The Bookish Historian, a brand dedicated to Educationally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master of Arts in Public History, and a Master of Library and Information Science with a concentration in archives. Professionally, I’ve worked in information technology (IT), corporate learning, and training for over a decade, priding myself on supporting and encouraging folks to find the information they need and solve their technical quandaries.

Musings of a Bookish Historian offers three different types of posts:

Regular Issues - In my regular issues, published bimonthly, I center on a particular person or historical event and pull in related reading and artifacts or historical places.

Bookish & Book Reviews - Occasionally I’ll share book reviews from my favorite books, what I’m currently reading, or other content relating to books.

History Bytes - This is where I’ll share content devoted specifically to history. Sometimes these take the forms of listicles. Other times I’ll post more specifically about operating in the digital sphere as a content creator. And sometimes it’s honest-to-goodness research to tickle my fancy…and hopefully yours!
