Thanks for sharing this Amy! I love how you give the historical background to the book before sharing your review - really helps to set it in its context. I knew I wanted to read this before, and now I *really* want to read it!

Sounds like an interesting life story. Henry VIII actually grew a bit in my eyes by allowing his sister to marry someone she actually loved.

It's an interesting what if how her story could have been if only she married Charles V, though I imagine her life was happier this way, Charles V was not the best of husbands.
